At the IT department, there is a lot of exciting development work going on, with several major reforms that combine the renewal of technology, processes, and skills.

In our system development, we use, to name a few - distributed microservice architecture, container platform, Java, JavaScript frameworks, MQ, .Net, and SpringBoot.

We work with both custom-developed and standard systems, and right now we are building a completely new system support for the Transition Study Support.

Based on the needs of the business, you plan and manage your own daily work. At CSN's IT department, we are proud to deliver customer-adapted and modern IT solutions to make studies possible. Our IT department consists of about 160 employees who work together in various teams. We approach our mission with great commitment and loyalty. This contributes, among other things, to our continuous strengthening of our competence and development within the department.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in technology and passionate about working with technically challenging issues. You will be an important player in our group where we work with the operation and management of our technical environments. Our group consists of Technical Specialists, System Technicians, DBAs, and Infrastructure Architects.

We mix daily management and operation with participation in development projects where we support with technology and expertise. We need to expand our team to effectively manage and develop our platforms. A strategically important initiative now is to establish and further develop our container platform and its support functions.

Qualifications

A requirement is that you have:

• relevant university degree of 120 credits within the IT field or where IT has been part of the education. Alternatively, you have several years of work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• several years of current experience working on a Linux platform
• general knowledge of servers, networks, and IT security.
• good ability to express yourself in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience from DBA work in a distributed platform,
• experience from working with IBM's Db2 and MQ in a distributed platform
• development in SQL and relevant scripting languages,
• basic ITIL knowledge (Foundation or equivalent) and have worked according to some of its process areas.

You collaborate well with others and listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a communicative way. You are an expert with a genuine interest in technology and a knowledge resource for others. You work well with complex issues. You analyze, break down, and solve complicated problems.
